There’s a laundry list of crazy fast cars coming from the factory nowadays. The Dodge Demon, ZL1, GTR, and Z06 just to name a few. You may be getting the itch for a new car, and a fast one that can compete, but maybe a Mustang is more your style or more in the range of your pocketbook. If that’s the case, you’re in luck. The crazy dealership responsible for a host of other ridiculously fast, and brand new, Mustangs, Lebanon Ford, is at it again, this time with a 10-second quarter mile Mustang GT named the LPF 10.
Far from stock (and a drive train warranty), the LPF 10 boasts a Stage 2 Roush Supercharger, upgraded, larger fuel injectors, a high-flow air intake, a re-tuned ECU, and a larger oil pump increasing cooling capacity. According to Lebanon Ford, the LPF 10 setup is built to output up to 700 wheel horsepower on 93 octane pump gas.
In addition to the power adders, you also get drag tuned Viking shocks with BMR springs, Mickey Thompson tires mounted onto 17×5-inch front wheels and 17×10.5-inch rear wheels along with a NHRA legal bolt-in roll cage and upgraded drive and half-shafts.
Lebanon Ford says the LPF 10 will run consistent 10.5 second quarter mile times, depending on usual variables including weather, altitude, and driver skill. The asking price for the performance? $59,995, sans the Premium Package, which you can upgrade to for the normal cost.
Is it better than a Demon or a Hellcat? Maybe, maybe not. That warranty is pretty attractive, but then again, so is an extra $20,000.
