Many, including notable industry personality Elon Musk, have speculated that the future of the automotive industry would revolve around some type of subscription service. It seems that Porsche has decided to carry the proverbial torch of the future as they have started a monthly subscription service for its vehicles, which they will be testing in Atlanta, Georgia.
The program, which begins at $2,000 a month plus a $500 initial fee, provides access to 11 vehicles from sports cars to SUVs, and is described as a “white-glove” service by Porsche. The service includes detailing, registration, maintenance, insurance, and vehicle tax. For a small additional fee of $1,000 bringing the total up to $3,000 per month if you’re keeping track, you can gain access to a further 6 vehicles such as the Cayenne E-hybrid.
